Stinter -
Heroes of Prophecy?

Of all the monarchs ever to rule in the history of rulers and monarchy, it is said that King Beezeebeezee of Trixterland (modern-day American Samoa) was the wisest . King Beezeebeezee was thought by some to be a prophet, thought by others to be the lord himself. In any case, King Beezeebeezee guided his kingdom through its golden age based solely on his foresight...

On his death bed , King Beezeebeezee uttered these words :

There shall come four knights...

Four knights of incomprehensible bravery and cunning...

Four knights of near-endless raw animal magnetism...

These knights will be of such subtle prowess,
That even the most unyielding of men shall flee.
All those who stand in the way will flee...

These men, with souls born of fire but bodies of flesh,
Will appear loud... annoying... at times just plain awful...

They will seem not to remember simple words or patterns,
Unable to coordinate as a group to produce any coherence.

These men will seem not to function properly in the grand social hierarchy...
They will appear to be out of place at times...

But it is under this guise that these four knights shall provide peace and tranquility to a society overwhelmed by violence.

These men shall come known as...

SPLINTER!!!!!

I have not encountered Splinter. But the parallels to Stinter are surprising. That's why I mention this story.
